HallOweekend

We had such a blast celebrating Halloween! Here are some pictures of our fun streak.

We kicked off the excitement with Tomm installing this bird feeder out by the pool. It's awesome! We've had Blue jays, cardinals and a cute, greyish bird come get a little snack. What is Halloween without the treat platters? I made some for Tomm to take to the Office and also some to take with me to the Barber shop to hand out to the Vets!

We had fun making the cookies together. Purrl taking it easy and me destroying the kitchen with flour and dough and having the time of my life! Heehee

Haha! Tomm modeling the frosting process.
Tada! The finished products....
We made ghosts, moons, eyeballs and kitties. My spooktacular mix (aka: chex mix... I was naming everything as we went)
Owl and cat cupcakes! Cuuute!!!
BOO-nana bread
The work party! Since we don't work on Saturdays we all decided to celebrate and dress up on Thursday. It was a lot of fun!
Me, Patty, Kay and Tony.
Tony looking devilish. I loved his tail! Haha
I was a cave woman (You can't see it but I had a bone in my hair that Tomm made for me) Haha! It totally looked the part.
I am so lucky to work with these people!
Halloween night!

We live in an area called the Acreage. It is not a planned neighborhood so on Halloween, it's not safe for the kids to go collect candy door to door. Well the Acreageans do Halloween right!!! Everyone meets on one main street called Citrus Grove that runs East and West and they get set up to hand out candy. We went with our neighbors, Rich and Maria, who just happened to set up a tent and chairs. It was awesome! There were so many kids, which is my favorite thing about Halloween. I love to see them having fun and watch them get exited. Plus all the cute costumes!

I dressed up as an angel. I had some cute wings and a halo (MIA: it was on a headband that felt like head tweezers).
Me and Maria handing out candy!
Starting to get busy!
Our friend Bill.
A sweet little bumblebee!
Edward Scissor hands! His mom made his costume! It was amazing.
The Wizard of Oz group! They all looked so good!
The hay ride. Rich loaded up a trailer with hay and was giving kids hay rides all night! How fun!!!
After we got back to their house, Elvis the cat wanted to examine it. (PS this cat is a complete smart alec! I love him!)
Isabell smiling for a picture.
Maria and her Mom.
Me, Tomm and Quinn. She is their beautiful daughter! I loved her cute bumblebee costume!
Full moon... How perfect!
Rich and Tomm bonding over a little Witch's brew.
Their other cat, Spot (aka: alien cat)
Elvis in the tree! Heehee
PURRL's birthday party!
Our Halloween kitty turned 3 years old! I always make a fuss over our cats. Purrl is such a sweetheart! She has the cutest personality and she is such a comfort to have and brings such joy into our lives. She is always right there waiting for me when I come home and we have such a bond! I love her so much.
Purrl's birthday cake! The ultimate Trick or Treat ensemble?
A perfectly good way to waste Grape Nuts and Brownie crusts ( I don't eat Grape Nuts and I prefer crustless foods anyway).
Me and my sweet!
What a feast! Everyone got wet food for dinner.
Tomm making our dinner.
We had sliders and cauliflower! Mmmm mmm
My favorite place! What a fun weekend!!!

Hi there! I don't know how I missed seeing this post, apparently forever ago! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun, though! You do so many fun things together. I love that you are such an artist with all your baking. And I totally get your bond with your kitty. I feel the exact same way about my kitty. She's so precious!
