Happy Birthday America!

We got our Good American on this weekend!
On Saturday we had visitors! Tomm's nephew, Mike and his wife Becky flew in from Texas for a Caribbean cruise (Jealous!) so we went to Ft. Lauderdale to pick them up from the airport. We went to dinner at Outback Steakhouse (Gloriousness!!!) and then took a drive to see some of the sights.

We drove along the beach! SO beautiful!
We some how ended up at a Maserati dealership... What the?! how did we end up here?... BOYS???
Mike and Becky nicely modeling a white convertible.
Tomm and I cozying up to a sedan.
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!
Tomm started the day off cutting the grass and trimming our palm trees that were looking more like bushes (they look like trees now! woot woot!)
Our grass is looking SO much healthier!
Randy getting some shut-eye.
Purrl claiming the coveted sleeping spot.
Tomm's new project: Pool Cooler!
Our pool has felt more like a ja
cuzzi latley. Good thing Tomm has skills in AC so he is building this cooler. He still has some kinks to work out but no doubt he'll have this working in no time. I can't wait! I'll never get out of the water. :)
While he was working outside; I was cooking up a mexican feast inside.... I made Shredded beef, mexican rice, refried beans, salsa, guacamole, and homemade tortillas!
As soon as I was finished we were ready to eat!
THE FIREWORK SHOW: Sparklers!!!! A childhood favorite of mine.
Me in my new dress! I had red shoes (MIA) for the occasion but my feet were swollen so off they came.
My cute 4th of July pie! We had it a la mode. What's more American than that?!
My goose in his Uncle Sam outfit. Haha
What can I say? I am so thankful for everything I have: I have a beautiful, amazing husband, a healthy, sweet baby on the way, three tired cats, a home that makes me feel safe and we live in the greatest country!!! God Bless America! XOXOXO
